Newspaper clipping from an unknown source. Not dated. Caption reads "IN RECOGNITION of his contributions to the Industrial development of Naples and Collier County, S. F. Briggs, of Outboard Marine Corporation and Solana Studios, was presented a certificate, awarded by Gov. Farris Bryant, at the City Council meeting Wednesday. The presentation was made by Mayor Francis Ford and Edward F. Belavek, president of the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce. Belavek looks on, left, as Mayor Ford presented framed certificate to Briggs. The certificate was awarded by the governor as part of Industrial Appreciation Week in Florida, sponsored by the Florida Development Commission and locally by the Greater Naples Chamber.
